When you book a conversion with us, here's what to expect...
initial consultation
We start by having an initial consultation to discuss your ideas, visions, budget and requirements and how we can make them a reality for you. Most importantly, this consultation is to find out if we're the right company for you and your build matches our company's vision,
The consultation is 1 hour and can either be in person or via video call. We do love an in person visit as it allows us to show you around the workshop, meet the team and see our current builds.
BOOKING SLOT
After the initial design consultation if you want to proceed with us, we charge £3,000+VAT to secure a date. This will allocate a slot within our diary, this will also include the initial 3D CAD model.
CAD MODEL
We will then design an accurate to scale CAD model of your vehicle. This will give you a greater insight of how your final build will look, including materials, colours, fabrics and also the technical aspects.
QUOTATION
Once the design is finalised and you are happy with everything we use this information to provide you with an estimated quote on the build and draw up an initial contract.
BUILD BEGINS
The team will begin your build! We offer a drive in drive out service, once completed, it will be ready to drive away on an adventure! We give an estimate of 8-10 weeks to completion. However, we don’t provide a set deadline as these are fully bespoke builds, they may take a little longer to build. We never want to comprise on our work, we make sure everything is tested and up to our high standards before leaving the workshop. You will be in the loop and kept up to date throughout the whole process.
We provide you access to a live folder which includes daily updates of photos and videos of the progress. This also includes documents like invoices and certifications. You will also be provided with a transparent breakdown of every cost of your build.
HAND OVER
Here, we give you the keys to your van! We will walk you throughout the whole van and show you what’s what and everything you need to know. You will be provided with a manual book that will go through everything you need to know, this includes all system designs including electrical and plumbing.
after care
Once we hand over the van to you, you have a 2 week ‘snag period’ to test the van out for yourselves. This gives you time to use and experience the van. It allows you to see if certain aspects of the build work for you or not. If something doesn't work for you or you wished you had changed something, just let us know, we’ll get straight to work on it. Our builds come with 12 months labour warranty and 2-5 year warranty on components.
